The history of the world has been created through dynamic interactions among unique countries and regions; therefore, holding that the world consists of one large system, this course engages world history from a wider perspective, including the close relationships between the histories of Asia and Europe. The East Asian History course focuses on Chinese History; Chinese culture, in particular, has had a great impact on Japanese history as well as its social development. Research on East Asian plays a critical role in the structural understanding and historical developments of societies.European History develops an understanding of Europe and America, while the Cultural History course offers a wide variety of lectures on the history of ideas.
