Open Recruitment for a Full-Time Faculty Position

4. Teaching responsibilities

(1) Lectures and seminar in Conflict Resolution or Related Fields and thesis supervision at Course of Negotiation Conflict Resolution & Administration in the Graduate School of Social and Cultural Sciences
(2) Lectures in Undergraduate and General Education

April 1, 2017

6. Required qualifications

Those who satisfy the following requirements
(1) Applicants who possess a doctoral degree, research achievement equivalent to a doctoral degree, or superior knowledge and practical experiences in the fields.
(2) Those who have enthusiasms for teaching and research, and willingness to contribute to development of Kumamoto University through administrative work and social contribution

7. Application documents

(1) Curriculum Vitae (include address, telephone, and email address. Educational experiences and Working experiences, and attach a photograph.)
If you would like consideration to be given to the period(s) when your primary focus was on childbirth, child rearing, or care for a family member (full-time or otherwise), please provide relevant explanations.
(2) List of Publications (Forms are optional. In all publications, please include name of authors, titles, publication dates, journal and book titles, volume and number, page, single-authored or co-authored publication, etc., and attach the double-circle mark to the primary publication and the single-circle mark to the secondary publication. Please identify the part you contribute in co-authored publications)
(3) Six copies of two major publications (the primary and secondary publications.)
(Photocopies are acceptable. Please attach a summary in Japanese in about 800 characters to each publication.)
(4) An outline of your research, educational, and practice experience up until now in about 1600 words in English and its Japanese translation.
(5) Statement of your research and teaching plans at Kumamoto University in about 1600 words in English and its Japanese translation.

(2) Clearly indicate "Application material enclosed, Conflict Resolution" in red on the envelope.

10. Deadline for application

All materials must be received by Oct 31 (Monday), 2016.

11. Method of selection

Screening by application materials, and then an interview will be conducted in the middle of Nov. The detailed information regarding the sites and dates of interview will be told to the applicants who pass the screening by application materials. Demonstration lecture maybe asked in the interview (Travel and accommodation expenses for interview will not be provided.)
